1. The website operated by ClubCOM Utilities Pty Ltd (ClubLINKS) provides a variety of information to the general public and to ClubLINKS members. The information about you which we collect and store includes the following information:

(a) Information that identifies you, such as your name, date of birth, address, place of business and nature of business which is collected when you register and may be updated by you from time to time by using this website;

(b) Tracking information which we collect as you use the site, which is used to improve the site for market research purposes but not used to identify you personally;

Password

2. To access certain aspects of this site you are required to enter a user name and password. The user name and password are used in order to protect your privacy and security. It is your responsibility to ensure that you do not allow your user name or password to be disclosed to any other person. The ClubLINKS site administrator has the ability to reset a user password.

However, it should be noted that the password remains invisible to the site administrator. The user has control over the selection of both user name and password.

3. If you use any link that is offered through this website then the policies of the organisation operating that linked site will apply to any information you provide about yourself once you have entered that link. ClubLINKS is not responsible for the privacy or security of any such information.

Sharing Information

4. Any information collected by ClubLINKS on this website may be shared within ClubLINKS and its related bodies corporate.

5. In order to provide a personalised service we allocate a unique identifier to your browser by using software known as a "cookie". This software does not pass any personal information to ClubLINKS or any other organisation and is only used to identify your browser. Cookies store information regarding your preferences and other information specific to you and may be viewed by ClubLINKS and any other persons who have access to your computer.

6. Any personal information and any information generated through use of Cookies will be used in accordance with this Privacy and Security Statement for the purpose for which ClubLINKS collected it as well as any other purposes related to ClubLINKS’s normal business operations, and also:

(a) Direct marketing purposes unless you have previously advised that you do not wish to be contacted. The first time we contact you for marketing purposes we will give you an express opportunity to decline any further contact;

(b) Other purposes connected with the operation, administration, improvement and development of ClubLINKS;

(e) Where such use is otherwise authorised by or under any law;

(f) Use of your email address in order to alert you to any changes or alterations in ClubLINKS’s service that affect you.

7. ClubLINKS also logs IP addresses, or the location of your computer on the Internet, for systems administration and troubleshooting purposes. We do not use IP address logs to track your session or your behaviour on our site. However, you should be aware that in the case of unlawful, defamatory or other similar material being placed on the ClubLINKS website, ClubLINKS may ask the police to investigate, in which case the identity of the perpetrator and the location of his/her computer would be traced through the IP.

8. ClubLINKS shares the information it gathers, in de-personalised aggregate form, with advertisers and other partners. We will not release personal information about you as an individual to third parties.

Updating Information

9. By enabling you to update your personal information ClubLINKS takes reasonable steps to ensure that personal information is accurate, complete and up to date. Where your personal information has not been expressly updated by you, ClubLINKS cannot be responsible for the accuracy, completeness or currency of the information.

(d) Where such disclosure is required or authorised by or under any law; or

Viewing Information

11. You are entitled to access and view personal information about you stored by ClubLINKS. Should you have any queries regarding the information held about you, you may contact ClubLINKS at the email address, postal address or telephone in the "contact us" section of this website. You are entitled to access any personal information about you held by ClubLINKS at any time. ClubLINKS will only decline to provide you with such information where:

(a) To do so would pose a serious and imminent threat to life or health;

(b) It would be an unreasonable impact on the privacy of others;

(d) There are actual or anticipated legal proceedings and discovery would grant access to that information;

(e) To do so would prejudicially reveal ClubLINKS intentions in relation to negotiations with you;

(f) Providing access would be unlawful;

(g) Denial of access is authorised by or under any law;

(h) To do so would prejudice investigations into unlawful activities.
